Frigidaire Ultra Quiet III; Mod # FDB750RCC1 (2 yr old) Dishwasher isn't pumping the water out of the bottom. Took the components out of the bottom, cleaned everything, re-ran it -still not working. Pulled it out of the cabinets, emptied out the water, put it on its side. Took smaller filter pump (at back corner) off found a small piece of glass. I think maybe the bigger pump in the middle of the dishwasher isn't running? Hoses also clean. (Don't hear a pump running during any of the cycles?) What suggestions can you give me. I thought maybe a hammer, chainsaw. (just joking) I'd appreciate any help...

Re: Dishwasher not pumping the water out?
Hi the larger motor housing underneath the unit is what moves the water around to wash, the smaller pump is the drain pump, if you don't hear that running it is likely in need of replacement. check your paper work for warranty, if it's out of warranty try to find a deal online and it's relatively easy to replace
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Yes Yourr Pressure pump that does teh high pressure spray is not working. Now identify the wires to the pump and check the voltage during the cycle .If present the pump is faulty and must be replace. However if there is continuity on the coild ccheck to see that a reset can make it work from a strck up condition.
If there is no voltage on the pump the controller unit is faulty.check relay , check board..

Dishwasher not draining properly or not draining at all issues can arise due
to different reasons. Usually, these issues are related to kinked hoses,
knocked out disposer unit (if connected with the dishwasher drain hose) &
clogged drain pump & filter.
Also note that dishwashers do not
drain completely after a finished cycle and this is normal. Dishwashers are
designed to leave some water in the unit to ensure that the heating element
doesn’t overheat. If you suddenly begin to experience a large amount of water
being retained in your dishwasher, you have a problem. Some of the most common
reasons include that the drain hose isn’t working properly, the drain pump
isn’t working correctly, or possibly there is a plumbing problem in your home’s
First check whether the drain is
not clogged or blocked and the line is not kinked. Check all the hoses for
blockages & also clean the air gap. Has the disposer been replaced
recently? If so, chances are the knockout is still in place. Simply remove the
drain hose from the disposer, and knock out the plug. If the disposer has not
been replaced, try removing the drain hose from the disposer and use a wet-dry
vacuum (prepared for water, of course) to **** any water (and hopefully anything
else) from the drain line. Then reconnect the hose, and test the unit. If you
have checked the air gap and the drain hose and can’t locate the problem, then
it is an issue with the drain pump of the dishwasher.

A sound during certain cycles indicates a broken part. By the information provided sounds like a pump may be the problem. You may need to contact a service tech about this issue. If the appliance still under warranty, the service should be provided for free.
Every time when you hear noises (other than the normal ones) in the appliance, it indicates there is something wrong and it will worsen over time, so as soon you hear something is not ok, get assistance.
Test by restarting the cycle and see if water drains if it does not then there is either a blockege in the pipe ,pump,or in the machine where the water passes out normally through a filter if you have checked and cleaned out filter and drain pipe and there is still no draining then listen to the pump if you can hear a humming niose then there is something in the pump itself and you need to take it out and inspect the impelar houseing remove what ever is there put back and enjoy if there is no noise and pump is clean then it is proberly fualty and nedd replaceing.
Remove the bottom plate near the floor. You can then look in under the dishwasher machine. The feet are adjustable up/down with a wrench most of the time. The dishwasher machine should tilt slightly away from the over flow sensor. In this case, Frigidaire Ultra Quiet, the rear feet should be lowered, or the front feet raised. If you have a machine with the over flow sensor on the bottom, at the back, tilt your machine slightly forward. Use detergent that dissolves food proteins. Problem solved.
