Santa Fe 2005, CD player stopped working , need to reset

My Sante Fe had to be jumped when the battery died, and ever since, the cd player won't work. It only displays "CD3". No buttons respond, it won't eject...nothing. Is there a way I can reset the cd player without being ripped off by the dealer?

Also have the same problem, never had to get my car jumped though. When i switch to cd it is stuck on "CD2", also most of the time the screen does not show up and i am not able to use any of the buttons except the analog turn knob and power/volume.

My 2005 Santa Fe died while driving. I was leaving a parking lot and (I thought) it kinda jumped then it died. It turns over but won't start. The fuel pump seems ok.

2005 sante fe a/c blows warm air when idling @ stop light - works ok at higher speeds

You need to recharge your a/c, and check its fuses. It's not blowing cold air at all, even when you are driving, because when you are driving it is blowing in the cooler moving air from outside your vehicle.

SANTE FE V6 SHOCK **** WHEN CHANGING FROM 2ND TO 3RD GEAR

Reset the adaptive values in the ECM/PCM. To do this, disconnect the battery cables on the battery.... then connect the cables together for 30 seconds... then reconnect them to the battery... see if that helps.
