Question about Washing Machines
I have a whirlpool front loader ghw9300pw4. 1 1/2 years old. two weeks ago the machine started to shake in the final spin cycle. I had to place my back on the wall and my hands on the machine to hold it from shaking. Now the machine shakes at all times. I purchased it from Lowes and have their extended warranty as well. they sent 4 different techs to my home and the first 3 said there was nothing wrong. the shocks were fine. they also tested it with only water in the machine, not clothing. before the final tech came i put clothing in and the machine shook from the begining so i put it on pause and waited for the tech. he saw it shake and also said it was normal. It sounds like a helicopter. i told him if whirlpool advertised the washer like this on tv no one whould buy it. Any ideas? My fustration level is through the roof!!!
Its obviously a stabilization problem. If its under warranty, don't mess with it. They can use this as an excuse to void it. The only real option is to complain all the way up the chain. You paid a lot of money for this and got the extended warranty as well. Try looking for an outside tech. that is a registered repairman for Whirlpool, sounds like the group that Lowe's has is not very competent.
