Unit is installed over the stove in a 2004 Monaco Motor Home. Very little usage(<5 hours total). Unit light comes on, and fans work but unit will not start. No front panel buttons work(ie defrost, auto cook etc. Timers will set but unit will not start. "Push start" instruction appears on the digital readout, but start button does not initiate a start.

The magnetron in your microwave has probably gone out. The magnetron is the
part of the microwave oven that produces microwaves. If you unit is a built in model,
it will likely cost more to fix than a new one. Same thing goes for a
The extreme heat has opened up one of the thermostats / thermal cutouts (TCOs) in the oven.
If it was the bottom TCO or magnetron TCO, you should be able to access them by just removing the control panel.
But if it's the one on top of the cavity, the oven will have to come out of the wall, then you need to pull of the outer cover..
so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have
two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.
