IBM ThinkPad T20

My battery is completely dead! Is it possible to conect with power without battery and use my notebook? I mean about bridges if possible? Which switches I must join or so on? Please help me!

    Thanks! But it still doesn't work. There is only a phrase: 2190(?)critical low battery and after 30 sec. it's going blind! What can I do?

Your laptop should work plugged in to the power mains even without the battery inserted.

IBM Thinkpad T20 .when you press F1 for bios setup utility it shows you that it is waiting for bios setup utility it will show this message on the screen for a long time without showing any other problem...


you need to reset the bios, which means opening the machine up and starting up with the motherboard battery removed. then replace the battery and boot as normal.

I need a little more info. Does it beep or make any sounds, and does it light up at all or is it completely dead, no lights, sound, nothing?
