It's not Windows XP that is blocking you from changing the resolution, it's you Video Graphics capability. Look on Microsoft Update to see if there is a video driver update, it there isn't, you may need to look into a seperate video card either PCI or AGP depending on what your computer will take.

The display is not fit on the monitor help me how to fix it thanks!!! ayanblink@yahoo.com

You need to set your PC video resolution to the native resolution of this monitor, which is 1440x900 @60Hz. Mkae sure to to have correct video card driver installed and may also need the driver for this monitor if the native resolution is not listed.

Viewsonic monitor ,no video

Black borders on side of screen. Video driver issue or no video driver installed; Resolution was changed and monitor could not adjust. Monitor needs to be manually adjusted.
Getting into Windows Safe Mode For information on how to setup your video card resolution, see document CH000190 ... This is the most basic Safe Mode option and has no additional support.
