my machine wobbles really bad and sounds really loud in the spin cycle. I have tried adjusting the legs for leveling and it didn't help.

I would first pull the machine out and remove the small plate that is around the drain hose and look for broken springs, there should be six of them, also look at where they mount for rust through situations.

Admiral lnc6760b71 Problems - Strong smell of burning plastic or rubber last week. Now the machine will stop when full of water and not respond. Later it will continue by itself. I took of a small panel...

Same problem, same model admiral. The smell is motor overheating. Once cool enough, it will continue with it's cycle. I took the top off and watched it run. The motor stopped and smoke rose from the motor located at the front right corner. I am scrapping mine and buying another washing machine. This admiral has been trouble since we bought it 5 years ago.

My Admiral Washing Machine (5 years old) is leaking.

Isolate the machine, use a knife or thin bladed tool and insert between the front panel and the top panel approx 4" from each side to release the clips, the top should lift up,2 screws at the top inside will release the front panel for a better view.

Admiral washer is doing a lot of vibrating...it is level

Possibly a worn drive belt on the underside of the machine, causing the drum not to get to full speed, clothes will be wetter after sping plus vibrates heavily - replace belt.
Tilt machine back for access to underside, simply pull belt off and replace, tension is automatic on motor.

Washer fills, drains instead of agitating, fills, etc

ON THIS MACHINE WHEN IT AGGITATES MOTOR ROTATES ONE DIRECTION, WHEN IT PUMPS OUT AND SPINS IT ROTATES THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. YOUR MACHINE IS ROTATING THE WRONG DIRECTION WHEN IT FILLS., INDICATING THAT THE TIMER IS SENDING VOLTAGE TO WRONG WIRES. SOLUTION , REPLACE TIMER.
PS: MAKE SURE ALL WIRES ARE PLUGGED IN TO MOTOR. WHILE THIS IS UNLIKELY , I HAVE SEEN THIS BE THE PROBLEM.
