Hi i want to ask how to downgarde psp 6.20 to 5.50 without pandora battery please help me in that...thank you

    Hi

You can downgrade your psp without a pandora battery but you will need a Lumines game hack,Follow these steps to do so.

Download the 5.50.pbp file. Rename the 5.50.pbp file to "UPDATE.PBP." Connect your PSP to your computer with the USB cable and select "USB Connection" to place the PSP into USB mode. A window will appear on your computer and you will be able to see the PSP memory stick files.

Download the downgrade pack. Open the "MS_ROOT" folder from the downgrade pack. Right-click the "PSP" folder and click "Copy." Go back to the PSP memory stick and right-click it. Click "Paste" and "Yes" to overwrite the data.

Right-click the UPDATE.PBP file that you downloaded in step one and click "Copy." Open the "PSP" folder on the PSP memory stick and you will see the "GAME" folder. Open this folder to reveal the "UPDATE" folder. Right-click the "UPDATE" folder and click "Paste" to transfer the update file to your PSP memory stick. The downgrade pack and 5.50 update file are on the PSP memory stick. Press the "O" button to safely disconnect the PSP from your computer.

Insert the Lumines PSP game into the PSP drive. Select the game from the PSP menu to start. Press the "Start" button when you get to the Lumines start screen. Your screen will blink red and will turn completely blue. You will be brought back to the PSP screen. It is important to not press any buttons before you get to the Lumines start screen.

Go to the game section of the PSP menu and you will now be able to see the "x.yz update" application. Select it with the "X" button to start it. Press the "X button from the main menu to start the downgrading process. Press "X" again to reboot the PSP when the downgrade has completed. You have now downgraded your PSP to 5.50 firmware.

I'm trying to download music from my computer to the PSP.

    Hi osbornangel,

Based on your concern, I suggest trying the following steps:

    1. Connect the PSP to your PC with a USB cable.
    2. Press the "home" button on the PSP
--> at the lower left of the screen you can see the home button.
    3. Use the left-right directional buttons to find "Settings", then the up-down buttons to find "USB Connection" on the PSP.
    4. Press the "X" button, your PSP should display "USB Connection".
    5. Please wait until your computer tells you that a new USB device has been connected, then show you a new generic hard drive, usually E: or F:
    6. Click on the drive letter that corresponds to the PSP unit.
    7. Now create a new folder on that drive and name it "psp".
    8. Within the new "psp" folder create another folder, and name it "music".
    9. Copy your desired mp3 files into the new "music" folder.
    10. When you're done copying your desired music tracks, press the "O" button on the PSP to get out of USB connect mode.

To play the music, Use the left-right arrows to move to the music area, then the up-down arrows to find "Memory Stick". Chose that folder by pressing the "X" button again, and you should be able to find all your favorite music!

    Hope it helps,

    Thank you for using FixYa.

How do I connect my psp?

    1. Connect the PSP to your PC with a USB cable. (about $10: buy a USB cable for your PSP)
    2. Press the "home" button on the PSP (it's a tiny button to the lower left of the screen) then use the left-right directional buttons to find "Settings", then the up-down buttons to find "USB Connection" on the PSP.
    3. Press the "X" button (you got it, the round button with the "X" on it) and your PSP should display "USB Connection".
    4. In a moment or two your computer should tell you that a new USB device has been connected, then show you a new generic hard drive, usually E: or F:
    5. Click on the drive letter that corresponds to the PSP unit.
    6. Now create a new folder on that drive and name it "psp".
    7. Within the new "psp" folder create another folder, and name it "music".
    8. Copy your desired mp3 files into the new "music" folder.
    9. When you're done copying your desired music tracks, press the "O" button on the PSP to get out of USB connect mode.
Now you're ready to go! Use the left-right arrows to move to the music area, then the up-down arrows to find "Memory Stick". Chose that folder by pressing the "X" button again, and you should be able to find all your favorite music! Note that the PSP running older firmware (firmware is the "operating system" of the PSP) does not support any Windows Media formats i.e WMA & WMV, so any music you have in that format must be converted to MP3 before copying to your PSP. Fortunately, Sony's very own Image Converter 2.1 can convert all your music with a very simple GUi and will then also manage all the measuring and transfering for you too.
