Re: xerox phaser 6120 colur laser printer
Not sure how long you have had that machine. But remove the paper and the tray. Dampen a slft cloth with some soapy cleaner, such as fantastic or Formula 409. Look into the paper feed area for the rollers and clean them well. Maybe 2 or 3 times. Then if you have some handy wipe them again with some alcohol.
Your feed rolls, depending on how many pages you have run, may be worn out and need replaced. But that should not occur with less then 40-50 thousand prints on it.
I suspect just some contaminant on the feed rolls.
Let me know please.

There is a sensor in the upper portion of the paper feeder, its above the paper in the tray, it falls out of the mounting. Easiest way to get to it is take your print cartridge out and lay the machine on its side, it is under the metal plate. I am sure it has come out of its mounting slots.
I know the phaser 7400, 7700, 7750 and 7760 are usable with transfer paper, as well as the larger platforms such as the 250. I have thought that the 6120 can be used for that. It has a fuser, and most every product that uses a fusing type ink should be able to use transfer paper.
You can remove the imaging unit, then
Depending on the stock being used for the job, raise or lower the left and right colored Fuser separator levers. The levers will stay in the raised or lowered position on their own. the levers are green. The fuser itself is not easy to remove.
Do you have any warranty left on the machine? Or a depot repair agreement?
