Question about Digital Cameras

1 Answer

I have a Kodak EasyShare 2700. I did not have the SD card. I took pictures and plug in the cable, but was not able to export the pictures from the camera to the computer. I took the camera to Office Deput. They tried to connect with my cable and then with a cable from a sililar new camera. They could not get the pictures exported to there computer. They then placed a SD card in the camera, exported the pictures to the card and then to the computer. What is the problem with not being able to export the pictures directly from the camera to the computer? Charles Gatch e-mail address: cgatch@sc.rr.com

I lost my instruction booklet for my Kodak C 613 digital camera and was wondering how to download my pictures from my camera to my computer. Thanks.

The instructions can be found online here: http://resources.kodak.com/support/shtml/en/manuals/urg00711/urg00711c5s2.shtml

You have two options, you can connected the included cable from your camera to your computer and the Kodak EasyShare software.
Or you can remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into an SD card reader. Some laptops and printers have built in SD card readers. If not you will have to buy an SD card reader.

My Kodak Easyshare caemra will only hold 3 photos.

You need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.
1: Menu, Cam settings, Chose AUTO or SD card option Press OK
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.
If successful please give me the feedback as a rating or recommendation. Thank you

I put a new memory card in our Kodak EasyShare

Your camera is only supporting SD/MMC Cards (up to 1 GB)
The card that you currently have might be faulty. Please try another card.

You might also need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.
1: Menu 2: Cam settings 3: Chose AUTO or SD card option Press OK
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

Kodak Easyshare V803 "unrecognized file format."

Sounds like there is a fault in the SD card.

Try an alt. card reader and computer.

Hopefully you will have the chance to retrieve the pics. If not ;(

Once pics are transferred. The SD card needs to be formatted. Remember this will delete all data on the card.

Cannot install driver (code 10 )

don't use the camera to load the pictures. see if your printer or computer have an SD card reader or buy one for $10 plug it into your USB drive and access the pictures that way...

Once you plug in your SD card Via SD card reader go to my computer and open the drive with the SD card on it... Shouldn't be difficult to figure out. Cut or Copy all your pics and paste them into your My Pics folder or any other folder of your choosing. Enjoy your pics...

Transferring pictures from old computer to blank SD card

I plugged my camera into the USB port in the CPU and reinstalled my Picture Project, into which the 240 pictures automatically imported from My Pictures. Then I turned my camera on and clicked Export JPEG and voila... they started exporting. I didn't know for sure if it had worked, since I could not actually view the pictures on my camera after that, but when I put the SD card in my other computer, they were on the card and I loaded them into My Pictures with no problem at all!!!
