Question about Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 Webcam
After installing the lifecam under Vista, it worked but only for few days. Now audio is still ok but I get a blank screen as image. No driver error is reported, I tried also to connect the camera to a different usb port and change settings but nothing ! .
It turns out you need to go to Microsoft's hardware download page and download the full (117MB!) driver and software for this neat camera. The software will ask you to install Microsoft Live (aka MSN Messenger), but you don't have to.
When you see the dialog boxes that explain, setup, and test your camera and microphone - you got it!
Be sure to select the camera from the Skype options/video setup page, and all the other options. Be sure to start you camera if you had set it up such that it does not start automatically.
