Water is leaking. how do i stop it . it leaks even when i don't use it. it leaks on the left side facing it. it made a wierd sound for a couple days before it started to leak. it sounded like something was stuck. thx

sounds like the frost plug(freeze plug)let go and needs to be replaced. may have overheated the motor and it stopped due to overheating, as you say it was running and then just stopped and won`t start. just so you know the right side of the motor is the side facing the radiator as the pulleys face the drivers side. this is how a tech differentiates left from right on a Honda. fill with the proper anti-freeze and water mixture. this is all the help I can give you with the information you have supplied.

First check to see if your drain is clogged.

First let me say it is NEVER good to drive a car overheating , you can ruin very expensive parts.It hurts your engine and your wallet. If permanent damage has not all ready been done , have it towed to your trusted shop, it sounds like your water pump has failed

The defrost drain line in the freezer is stopped up.
You will have to remove all food and turn the refrigerator off for 24 hours to let the drain line defrost.

Leaks are probably going to come from one of 4 places:

1. Door gasket: water should run down the face of the washer from the lowest point of the door.
2. Water connectors: left rear of machine
3. Soap drawer: water running down front of machine from the upper left-hand side
4. Discharge pump and hoses: Right side.

Rear right would probably indicate a discharge hose leak. Front right would most likely be the discharge pump and/or connectors to it. Here's a diagram:



If you don't see any of the easily visible leaks (door, soap dispenser, connectors), try to pop off the front access panel by removing the 3 bottom screws. Once removed try to determine where the leak is originating from...then we can troubleshoot more. hat leak may not be in the machine. It may be one of the hoses going into it. Look to find out where the water is actually coming from. If it is a hose from the faucet behind the machine, the hose can easily be replaced at a low cost. If it is only leaking with hot water, check the water inlet valve at the rear of machine where the hoses connect, top left rear facing it. If it is leaking and running down the left side, it is the wrong side for the pump unless it running across the floor and out the left side. If it were the hose, it would leak all the time. It sounds like the hot side has gone bad on the inlet valve. You can save several dollars by fixing this yourself.

Tilt it back and look for two screws, near each corner on the bottom front. Remove these screws and pull the bottom toward you. It should lift off the clips on top. Run the machine carefully, moving parts and see if the leak is actually coming from the left rear and from somewhere up high. First try cold water, then hot. If it leaks on one and not the other, then it is the valve. Be sure to unplug the machine if you decide to change this part. Also you might want to mark where the wires go back to be sure you do not reverse the hot and cold water, as well as fittings and connections. The water leakage evidence should be visible. If not, wash a load and watch for where water leakage occurs. Just look. Do not touch since there will be electrical current supplied.

well about ur problem, plz check it out in a near service center, as ur freezer is fragile part, connecting directly with compressor, any slight damage r rough handling may result in leakage of Coolent !! which is sometimes quite toxic.

or else, if u can manage then try fixing it a rubber washer of reqired size. this will definetly stop the leaking of water..

Look for obstruction at the drain tray for the freezer. Common to have plastic wrap sucked into that area.Or gunk in the drain line. Blow through line to insure the gunk is not an issue.
