The home button unfortuantly will be internally damaged. This will need repairing by Apple or a technician, as it will of snapped internally (alternativey you may repair yourself, and replacements are availalbe on ebay).
The fact no one can hear you, may mean that the microphone in the bottom (by the connector) has also been damaged in the drop. This could only be confirmed by taking it to an Apple store to check this for you.
Try using the headset that came with the phone, and see if the person is able to hear you through the microphone on there - that might assist in them being able to hear you, as it is a different mic
Your issue seems more like a hardware problem.Did you drop the phone recently? Is it happening with all calls?
Maybe the internal microphone is broken. Try with your handfree headset. If it works fine with handsfree, the internal MIC is broken. Take it to the repair shop and get it checked. If it is still under warranty you will not be charged for it.
A problem with the internal microphone, or the contact between it and the circuit board, more often on the later, cause a condenser microphone is quite rugged. Anyway, it really needs professional attention, but if you're adventurous enough all you need is a T5 or T6 screw driver to open. Clean it, but don't use any liquid. Again, it's a delicate job, better handled by professional on that field. You might end up losing your phone altogether.
