Question about Televison & Video
Hi, I've had a second hand Aquos for a couple of months and all has been fine. This morning I switched on the TV as normal, but instead of the picture I got a scattered image. When I push the menu button on the remote for excample I'm getting what looks to be random scattered lines of colour. These change dependent on what I do, i.e. go to a menu, change channel etc. The problem is the same without any signal feed with TV just standalone.
It's the same on any source, i.e. AV1, AV2 etc.
I have had this model television since 2006, and had a "blank screen with an audio problem" a couple of years ago. I found the solution for the problem; I simply tightened all the logic board screws (they become loose over time), and sprayed the contacts with an electronic cleaning spray.
The television has worked perfectly since.
I have considered having buying a new model, but the overall picture quality still matches much newer TVs.

This is most likely has a bad main bd. No discreet component repair with unit. I can't give any information on the boards because this is not a good model # according to my Sharp site.
