Vodacom repair center said my omnia is irrepairable from water damage. If the phone had water damage is it repairable? What could possibly be wrong?

First of all, do not turn it on otherwise will do more damage. Take out the battery, and completely dry the phone before trying to use again.
Here is the procedure to take out all moisture trapped in the phone: Dry the phone, battery, any accessory, etc. with cloth and wrap each piece, phone and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped phone in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your phone because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the phone. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs.

My phone just fell in the toilet and now it turns on but its always freezing...

ynot you need to give some official repairer to fix it, because it is a water damage maybe the device can anytime make a short cicrcuit and damage the device permanently so disconnect the battery and take to some official repairer, for the freezing there is 2 possibility hardware issue (LCD running screen freeze due to water damage) or software issue (software problem), for hardware issue you need to show repairer for the software try to hard reset device but this procedure will delete all data so first make back up, for the hard reset try this process :
1. switch off device
2. press and hold volume up+lock button + green call button +power on button, all together;
3. then device ask you "are you sure want a format"
4. select format, after finishing all, use your device for check persist problem or not, probably not because this is a minor software problem. Best of Luck, if my suggestion was helpful ,please rate it.

Seawater damage,dont switch on at all,allthough cleaned as best as could.??? samsung omnia i900

hello,all you need to do is to disassemble the phone without trying to power it on after the water damage.after it has been disassembled,you then dry up all the panels,batteries and screen and other affected part.if you have tried powering it up immediately after you brought it out of water,this could damage the panel and battery together.if after you have done what i advice and it still does not power on,i would advice you visit an authorized expert to help you give it a proper fix,by drying them up and also giving the phone a computer flash if warranted.

hope this is helpful,
kindly rate the solution if it's helpful.

take care.
