my mfc-210c will only print in black and yellow even when i have cleaned it the cartridges are all full No matter how mant times i clean it its always the same

All of a sudden the magenta stopped printing. After cleaning multiple (perhaps 10) times, I can get two dashes of magenta in a test print out of the 150 that are supposed to show up. Brother Help says, "must be a mechanical defect, since you're using our print cartridges." As the machine is out of warranty, I'm thinking I could buy a new one for the cost of repair. Any suggestions on how I might proceed before pitching it in the trash?

Brother units are very sensitive when it come to using generic ink. If you have used generic ink you will need to buy Brother ink and run through the cleaning cycle at least 4 times. Print a test sheet, if the color begins to come back, the generic ink is the issue. Generic ink may have damaged the print head also.

did you use generic ink? those ink will clog the ph espacially the mag + yellow channels.

do use original brother ink carts because these contains special cleaning fluids!
