Question about Apple iPod touch

Purchased songs from itunes on itouch gone!

I was trying to up? down?load my daughter's purchased songs from her itouch to our MacBook.  Using trial and error method (not the best with technology, I understand!), I highlighted the songs and, under File, clicked "Add to Library" or "Export Library," not sure which.  My daughter swears she didn't do anything else when I left, but that's when the freakout happened over the 55 lost songs. Trying to find the songs, I found, "Transfer purchases from Briana's iPod."  When I clicked on that, I learned I was not authorized.  It did have a list of the 55 songs that I was not "authorized" to load.  I "authorized" our computer, then tried to load the songs again.  Still, the messages appeared that I was not authorized.  I authorized again, restarted the computer, and completed the whole cycle twice, but to no avail.  My distraught 14 year old daughter, is only comforted by the knowledge that we have an appointment with a genius at the bar tomorrow after school.  Can you help?  I appreciate any education you can impart.  Thank you!

I bought four songs off the iTunes Store on my iPod Touch. I synced my iPod Touch to my comp and now the songs are neither on my iPod or my computer! Where did they go?! I only have one user account and I'm using the same one on the computer and the iPod Touch.

You might be loged in with the wrong user account, try your daughters account? or yours if you where on her account.

On itunes, not on your computer.

If you need more asistance, let me know. Good luck.

All songs erased from my ipod touch

Did you sync the songs using iTunes? If yes, then you should still have them in your iTunes music library. Just re-sync the iPod with iTunes and you should be fine.

*On a side note: you really shouldn't be telling everyone where you get your music...the next thing you know...Big Brother will be sending you letters about stealing.*

Ipod 120 g classic will not finish a song or it will reboot

I had the same problem with a 30gig classic.
The songs would play fine on my wife's itouch.
I tried every suggestion I could find No luck.
I installed media monkey and use it to load my classic EVERY SONG PLAYS FINE. Using the same songs in iTunes they stopped playing completely .I didn't have this problem using 7.5 iTunes but the iTouch needs the newer version

Cannont transfer podcasts to itouch from itunes

It could be a bad file. If you're resetting your device, and then adding you music and such back, there may be some bad song, or app that is corrupting your device. On my Mp3 player, it would get stuck on a song that wasn't really there, so I found some corrupt goofy Weird Al song, removed it, and it never happened again.

My iTouch is disabled but my dad deleted my iTunes off my laptop:

if your father deleted your song library then you will have to download your music again.
same with your apps
if your restore all that will do is load a new copy of your ipod software in the ipod.
it won't help with getting your songs back
it will help with removing the password lock.
