The display on my GE JKP45W GE double oven is intermittent. I have reseated all of the cables but to no avail. It is off unless I wiggle it just right. What can I do?

If you're running a double wall oven as displayed here, you would need to replace the control panel in the front that has the green little ribbon cable on it to solve this problem, I actually imagine that that part unfortunately may not be available anymore, however you could call parts and check availability at 1800 626 2000 This is also known as the keypad assembly.
Make sure the oven door hinges are open fully and locked then reseat making sure the notch on the bottom of the hinges seats on the cabinet locating plate, then release the hinges and close the door....theese hinges can take your fingers off so be very careful
Had similar issues with my GE oven. (same Model)
Removed the oven control module and sent it to
FixYourBoard.com. For $160 they repaired the board in about 1 week. Received it (my same board) and put it back in. The oven works great!
Recommended. (No, don't work for that company, just a happy customer)
This is a common failure of the control board. It is often accompanied by a intermittently blank display. The board is no-longer-available but we can rebuild it for you at www.fixyourboard.com.
F7 stuck keypad Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on. Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by: 1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad. 2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs
If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.
If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.
F1 is a common error code indicating a failure of the oven control board (aka ERC or EOC). Often these control boards have been discontinued, "no longer available" or are very expensive. We may be able to help and save you money.

Usually the knob type controls uses the bulb for temperature regulation. There is usually only one adjustment available - otherwise the thermostat has to be replaced. - that dial with the temperature graduations on it. the whole unit - the bulb in the oven is connected to it.
