I want to play duplicate dvds on my ps2 but i am not able to do what should i do can i do it at home

  1. If you have backed up a game for ps2, you're going to need a mod chip or swap magic for your ps2 so it can read the disc, so first things first, BUY A MODIFICATION TOOL!!!
  2. 2You should try using Swap Magic, because it's the easiest, and you won't need to modify your PlayStation too much.
  3. 3But if you use SWAP MAGIC, you will also need a special mod chip, SLIDE TOOL, or a FLIP TOP COVER, you can learn more about those on the swapmagic website
  4. 4Read directions on the installation of mod chip, and swap magic before you do anything (you don't want to mess up, or else your ps2 won't work properly).
  5. 5Install your modchip/flip top cover/slide tool. (This is important, because it allows the disc to be removed and "swapped" without the PlayStation knowing).
  6. 6Follow directions that came with your swap magic discs, and you're basically ready to go!
  7. 7HOW TO USE SWAP MAGIC,Note you must have Swap magic 3.6 to boot on slimline ps2 and you need to do a none solder modding(no soldering)

Purchase a flip top (recommended). Let's assume you have the flip top and a copied ps2 game
  1. 1Now Insert the swap magic disc into the ps2,
  2. 2Press power on button until screens comes up.
    • With option that says load cd open the top cover of the flip top.
    • And take out the cd when it stops spinning.
  3. 3Now insert your Copied game and click Load CD.
  4. 4its that easy

How do u turn the mod chip on in a playstation 2

Hi DavidBruce,
There are different types of Mod chips for the Ps2, You may need to describe your mod chip.
It can take up to one hour from first screw til the last! You need to know how to solder as you must solder 4 - 23 wires depending on your Mod chip.

Hope this helps!

How to modify ps2

The chip is nt pirated. The thing is it is a small chip that has to be installed with the main chip on motherboard where code has been installed. After installing chip, main chip can't recognize original code, thus copied PS2 media works on MOD Chip. The chip comes with many little wires. You can't install that. Go to a expert. It will take an hour to install. Feel free to ask any problem related PS2.

Pcb no GH-006 mod chip diagram

The Modbo v4.0 is compatible with v5 to v16 and it is also compatible with the newly released SCPH-7700x & 7900x consoles. However for your SCPH-30004 I'd use a PS2 Duo 3 Gold. http://www.duomodchip.com/english/install.htm

Mod chip ps2 slim SCPH-75004SS

I don't really think I can find any info. on that. I would suggest calling or visiting the person/company that installed the mod-chip. I wouldn't call sony playstation because downloading games for the ps2 can sometimes be illegal.

GH -035-22 CHIPPING

Hi,
you won,t get that kind of information on here.
Try going to the Mod-Manufacturers site, or suppliers site.
They,ll have Diagrams And Possible Forums And FAQ ( Frequently Asked Questions ) pages To View.
p.s sometimes you have to tweak the power up slightly on the laser, or adjust the lasers angle.

You need a mod chip to burn PS2 games from your hard drive and play them on your PS2. Plain and simple look up a guide for modding PS2's and buy a mod chip for roughly 40-60$ and you're all set.

PS2 - Has it been chipped?

are you asking how do i tell if it's got a mod chip?
open it up and laying on top should be the chip.
http://www.easybuy2000.com/store/playstation%20II/dms3.shtml
go down to installation and you can see where it's installed. it also depends on what chip you had put in.
