No problem wetrat,
Just click the link below, than click Downloads.
http://www.emachines.com/support/product_support.html?cat=Desktops&subcat=W-Series&model=W3502

Scroll down till you see Audio.
Version 5.10.0.5242
Click Download (23.02 MB) & save to a folder on your desktop.
Run the file D00571-001-001.exe & it will instal your sound driver.
It would be a good idea to bookmark this web site.

Good Luck wetrat!
& please vote.

    Hi wetrat,

Something wrong? You asked for drivers for your emachine 3502. So what is the problem? I only recommended the Audio driver which is what you ask for. If you need something else just ask. This was not a (Thanks for trying), unless you do not how to install or you had another problem that you did not post a question.

Either change your vote or ask another question or I'll add you to a list & not answer your questions again.

If you are not willing to spend the money on a new computer, I would recommend to download a application called CCleaner to clear out unnecessary data. Also you can uninstall unwanted programs and you can re-install Windows XP using the software that came with your machine.

I've installed a new window XP pro on my W3502 emachine (the same OS was on it b4) and can't get rid of the little yellow (?) video controler (video compatible) in there! the only think I added was a 520...

You need to install the video driver for your computer- Usually there is a disk with drivers, however you can go to the Emachines support site- http://www.emachines.com/support/drivers.html and download your drivers

Probably, having more RAM would make VMWARE run faster.

Check the manufacturer's web-site -- surely, they have a version which *DOES* work as a "native" application under Windows XP and Windows VIsta and Windows 7, i.e., no need for "compatibility settings".

I have problems with drivers of sound

You must use XP SP2 or SP3.

Then use drivers from motherboard maker.

Are certain restore disks interchangeable?

Unfortunately you cant use a vista restore disk for a XP operating system.

You could install vista on it and then use XP compatibility mode for whatever programs you want to run. Simply right click on the program and select the compatability tab..change to XP.

No sound on AMILO laptop

Keriandjelly,
Sounds like you need to update your audio drivers. There are a couple of ways you can do that, one being checking the manufacturer's support site and entering your model information to download the correct driver. Another that may work is a manual Windows update (click start, then all programs, then near the top of page you'll see Microsoft update/Windows update) and make sure when prompted you select Custom install rather than Express install, this will show you additional software and hardware updates that should include your audio card, and you can select/add the update for the device in question and the update should/could restore your audio.
Good luck.
