Change the 4 100uf capacitors on the DM board. You will need the service manual to get the set apart as its technical. But with the service manual and take notes you should be able to repair it. But the service manual for that chassis is mandatory or you will never get the chassis out without alot of trouble. Heres a link where you can get the manual emailed to you.

Try unpluging your T.V. for 5hours+, then turn it back on. Worked for It's called a "hard reset" by sony.

Otherwise
Do the following steps
  1. Check the Sony remote for a button labeled "Sleep." This allows you to cycle through the sleep settings and determine how long you want the TV to remain on.
  2. Step 2 Press the "Sleep" button. You'll see a number come up onscreen: usually 15 or 90. When you press it again the number changes, moving up and down in increments of 15. This is the number of minutes the TV will remain on before it goes to sleep. As you cycle through it, you should see a setting with the words "Sleep Off" appear onscreen. If you leave it there, the sleep setting should cancel, allowing you to turn the set off when you like. If you miss it, just keep pushing the "Sleep" button. It will continue to cycle through the options until "Sleep Off" appears once again.
  3. Step 3 Access the timer function to shut off the timer by pressing the "Menu" button, then cycling through the onscreen options until you reach the "Applications" setting. Press it, and then cycle through to the "Clock/Timers" option.
  4. Step 4 Highlight the "Timer 1" setting and press the "+" button. If it's showing a given time, you'll need to deactivate it. Use the up and down arrows and move through the possible options until you come to the "Off" setting. Leave it there; that should shut the timer off.
  5. Step 5 Repeat the process with the "Timer 2" setting, a little further down the "Clock/Timers" menu. Set it to the "Off" position just as you did with the "Timer 1" setting.
  6. Step 6 Press the "Menu" button when you are done to exit the menu and return to the screen. You should be able to view the Sony TV as normal with no danger of it turning off.

good luck

Directv remote

1) Use 2 new AA batteries in RC32 remote control;
2) Slide mode switch to "TV";
3) Press and hold the MUTE and SELECT keys at the same
time until the green light under the selected switch
position flashes twice, then release both keys.
4) Enter 9-9-1-1.
5) Press PWR button on TV.
6) Point the remote at the TV and press CHAN+. Repeatedly press CHAN+ until the TV turns off. Every time CHAN+ is pressed the remote advances to the next code and power is transmitted to the component.
7) Use the CHAN- key to step back a code.
8) When the TV turns off, stop pressing the CHAN+ key. Then, press and release the SELECT key. If the light flashes 3 times before the TV or component responds, you've cycled through all codes and the code you need is not available. You must use the TV remote control.
9) To verify the code, slide the MODE switch to the appropriate position.
10) Press and hold the MUTE and SELECT keys at the same time until the green light under the selected switch position flashes twice, then release both keys.
11) Enter 9-9-0. (The green light under the selected
switch position flashes twice.)
12) To view the first digit in the code, Press and release then number 1 key. Wait three seconds, and count the number of times the green light flashes. Write this number down in the TV owner manual.
13) Press number 2 for the second digit, 3 for the third digit, 4 for the fourth digit and 5 for the final digit.

To control TV volume from Directv RC32:
1. Press and hold the MUTE and SELECT keys until the
green light under the DIRECTV position flashes twice,
then release both keys.
2. Using the number keys, enter 9-9-3. (The green light
will flash twice after the 3.)
3. Press and release the VOL+ key. (The green light
flashes 4 times.)

No Picture-No Sound Timer light flashes.

The sequence of flashes from the timer light may hold the clue as to what is wrong. For instance if it blinks 5 times then 3 before repeating the cycle, it usually means that IC 702 on the CRT drive board is bad. I have had to replace that semiconductor many times in the past. For this exact symptom, removing the connector Cn706 From the CRT Drive Board allows the set to start up. I am very skeptical of the quality of picture tubes in these sets, so if this is the problem, it may occur again. When replacing this IC, there could be damage to a resistor and capacitor R533 and C541 on the main Printed Circuit Board also. If your timer light is not flashing that code, the problem is elsewhere. If the set is over 6 years old, it may be worthwhile replacing it.
