Map Upgrades for GPS:

The below units are upgradable with the Navi Extra maps.

• Q4: From Serial #ML0909020001 onwards. From Serial #YF0909123953 onwards
• Q4-06: From Serial # ML0909000001 onwards
• ME: All serial numbers
• 43LT: All serial numbers
• V4: All serial numbers
• V5: All serial numbers
• I4-BC: From Serial# ML1004000001-ML1004000504 and ML1005001701-ML1005002700

Important Map Upgrade Information:
Please note that refurbished units that have serial numbers starting with MLR or ML999 are not compatible with map upgrades.

Navi Extra Mapping

You have a few corrupted files internally. Contact Rand Support to
obtain a new update SD Card to upgrade you to the new version and maps. The update SD Card will not remove your user
data. Be sure to have your serial number handy,
(back side, bottom right).

uninstall/delete the map pack.......
Then Re-Download the Map Pack.......
Update your Navy Seals game to the newest version update via psn.
Then Reinstall the Map Pack.

That Should Cure all your ills.

The only way to get a map update cheaper would be to buy the lifetime update, which lets you update your unit up to 4 times/year (by downloads from their homepage) for a fix sum only slighly more expansiver than the regular update.
By doing more than one update however, the price per update is almost half of just buying an onetime update.

I'm in Australia, so if you're not you will need to go to the navman website and select your country, then find the update. The update is done through the NavDesk software I think.
