Even better - take a look at this post.
Make sure you pick up the necessary tools, and most importantly, discharge static electricity. It's not a bad idea to ground yourself, either. Wear rubber soled shoes. :)

Bypass 4 digit phone lock code

Not to sure what you mean but if its a lock and pay screen on DVD's then try:

  1. Install Media Player Classic Home Cinema (run a search for MPC-HC and it'll come up quickly).
  2. Go to File - Open DVD, and select your DVD drive from the list.
  3. When the DVD starts to play, right-click on the video and go to Navigate - Jump To... - (select whatever chapter you want!)
  4. If the video doesn't play correctly after selecting a chapter, you've found one of the "lock and pay" streams. To fix it...
  5. Right-click the video and go to Navigate - Video Angle - Angle 2.
That's it, you should be able to view the "locked out" video without tediously figuring out or paying money for a PIN code!

If your locked out of your phone and can't remember your 4 pin code to unlock, try:

I need to unlock my settings and i can not locate my mac OS X install disc

I am assuming that you don't know the password for the administrator account on the laptop which will allow you to unlock the settings. Unfortunately the only way to change the admin password is to re-install the OS. Seeing that you don't have the disc you will have to purchase one. The Snow Leopard OS disc is available from Amazon.com for just $40 here. Once the disc arrives simply insert the disc and follow through the steps to re-install the OS. More detailed instructions on installing Snow Leopard here. Hope this helps! Please rate my answer if you have time! :)

Simply boot off the OS install disks, and instead of installing, you look for 'change password' in the tools menu.

Lost my admin password how do I reset it

Restart the MacBook from the original install disk or Snow Leopard install disk, then after selecting the Language, go to the menu and you'll see 'Reset Password', just select the user you want to reset (There will only be one in most cases) type in a new password or leave blank (not recommended) , and restart as normal.

I am trying to install software onto my MAC OSX and it will not work. Says cannot operate in DOS mode. I do not know what to do. The UM175 says Mac OSX compatible. Help!

I know sounds dumb but it appears your putting the wrong disc in the drive. Kind of the same error if you try to install a windows file.

Plug and play and update.

Does the G3 300 Play DVD Movies??

If your OS is System 10, Go to home and find application folder, there you can find iMovie icon and double click it. or If your system is OS 9.0 or 9.2, double click your system folder which is on the desktop and then find the application folder, there you can find the iMovie icon, double click it and thats it.or If you have  the Operating System CD installer, try browsing the CD and open all packages content. There you will find iMovie installer and install it. Thats it!

My MacBook

Did you use PC2-5300 200 Pin DDR2 SODIMM. One problem could be that the RAM is PC rather than PC2, a very easy mistake.
Otherwise, try taking out the RAM and reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, trying installing the original RAM.

Problems installing RAM card

Have you installed any RAM into this iBook Before? One way to double check that you have the correct RAM is to take the one out that is alreay in there and line them up and see if the width and height are the same. Critical is to see if the little grove is in exactly the same place, when you have the two sticks of RAM lined up with the Pins facing each other and the edges of the RAM also line up.

When installing the RAM the angle should be about 30 degrees, and when the pin edge of the RAM has slotted in out of view lower the angle of the RAM and as you continue to push it in level the RAM out. It does require a 'little' force, but nothing to break it. When push home all the way you should be able to flatten it out so the clips that hold it in place engage, if it is a little tight take it out and try again. Should this work put it together and try it out. When you have started up the unit look to see if the new RAM is registered in the 'About this Mac' under the Apple menu. If not the RAM is not sitting right in the slot. Open again and push it home. Should only be a Milimetre or so.

Let me know if this works or you need further help.

Good Luck
