Question about RCA Lyra RD1071 MP3 Player
I use this only when I walk on my treadmill, about once a week. Today it just would not turn on. I put in two different brand new batteries. Still nothing, I really like it for my workout. I have the music so that it takes me to the level I need at a rate that is good for me. I am 60. So no spring chicken.

you are right you need to change the format back to MP3. Do you have the orginal songs in MP3 and then converted then to MP4? If not try http://www.mp4-mp3.net/ you will need to take all the songs from your ipod and put them in a local folder on your pc, then convert them and then move them to your mp3 player. hope this works for you.
