    hello jl0123,

You cannot, or should I say need not "change the fuser oil" in your copier. You should have gotten a prompt that says "fuser oil low" or something like that. I can help. But you must take care of this soon because waiting too long will cause the copier to get pissed off and give an error code and then you are in deep doo doo. Here is what you do.First of all you need fuser oil to replenish the oil tank which is almost empty. You should be able to get the oil from the same place you get your toner or other consumables. Once you have it ,we will need to spin the machine around so you have good access to the back of the machine. When you view the back of the machine you will see I believe a total of 4 "button" looking things. The top 3 are to access air filters. At the bottom towards the right you will see a cover that has one of these button looking things that you can open with either a flat screwdriver or a penny, nickel, dime etc... Turn the slot counterclockwise and remove the cover.Don't worry you are not going to hurt anything unless you intend to. Once you remove the cover you will see a small clear tank with a black cap. Thats where the oil goes. Remove the cap and add the oil till it reaches close to the top.A lite would be helpful. The only worry is that you overfill it. You will have a mess,no damage. And you can tell when it approaches full as the tank is clear. There ya go. The only caution is that this oil is very slick, can stain, and is tough to clean up. So just be a little careful. You are the hero!!!!! Take care and I hope this helps. Please feel free to give positive feedback to the fixya website if I helped you. :-)

Sounds about right, but if the oil is really low, it will code. If you catch it in time, the machine will pump the oil to the fuser unit.

At the machine. Press in this order. Clear all ( yellow button) then 107, then press and hold the pink stop button until the screen changes. You will see some icons that say Copy SP, Sytem SP.
Select Copy SP, if thats not available select System SP.
You will see several buttons. Select sp 7 Data Log, Then scroll to page 804 and select that. Then scroll to item 11. That is where you will select to clear the fuser oil count and reset it.

The machine has no fuser oil.
Fill the little tank at the back side of the machine. If the tank is full, check the tubes, oil pump, and oil sensor.
Reboot the machine to clear the SC.
The problem will be solved

Ricoh Aficio 1232c REFILL

You can't use any other brand of color toner to refill the AF1232, you'll have all kinds of issues. They do have compatible toners (generic) for that model but highly recommend OEM.
