Here is the link to the site for the manual your model is on page 3 of the mitsubishi section for 12.99. They do maintainance in the evening so if you cant get in try in a few minutes. You will have to forgive me but I do so many mitsubishis that I am not sure which problem youre refering to. I am currently helping around 20 people with mitsubishi. Just repost your symptom and I will certainly give you some direction.

I have a Mitsubishi ws-65809, the tv won't power

I presume you unplugged the set and redid the check:

2,3 is deflection circuit problem (probably in Horizontal sweep circuit) and can be almost anything---check output transistors and look for cracked or bad cap in that area.

The error code is only a general indication of the kind of problem and this one is like saying car will not start etc.

Mitsubishi tv ws-65809 shuts down after a few seconds, get a code 23. I was reading a post you said that only needed to soder something?

2,3 is a deflection circuit failure; These sets rarely have soldering problems there or elsewhere.

I would suggest either it is a shorted part in that area (High Voltage and sweep circuits) or it is possible it could be a Glycol issue.

A deflection circuit problem would require a schematic (widely available on internet for free) and a meter to check for voltages and or for shorts.

Glycol can be inspected for visually and if seen care must be taken.

Let me know if you have questions.

Last suggestion would be if you have not done it, unplug set (this clears the error buffer) and plug back and turn set on, if it fails double check the error code again.

Mitsubishi WS 65809 65" Rear Projection TV. Turns

Hello There, Its seems that the circuit board has problems. You'll have to get it replaced ASAP before the board is ruined completely.
The same thing also happened to me 2-3 weeks ago. the techs came in and had to replace the board since 1 circuit was damaged.
It will cost around $100
