Question about HP PSC 1350v All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Removal of ink cartridge

When I turn on my printer, all lights are flashing and there is an E in the box for the number of copies. I flipped down the door to take out the ink cartridge, but I didn't see either of them.

When I turn on my printer, all the lights are blinking and the E light is on. I looked in the reference guide for help. There wasn't much there. I tried to turn the HP PSC off and then on. Restarted the computer. Unplugged the HP PSC and plugged it in again. The problem is still there. Any help for this problem. It had been working just fine. Thanks. Cleo Cieminski

How do I change ink cartridges on Canon Pixma MX700?

1 Turn on the Canon MX700 printer by pressing and holding down the "Power" button. Open the paper output tray by pulling up on the tray. An arm will unfold from inside the printer and hold the tray open.

2 Apply pressure on the ink cartridge tab and remove the ink cartridge. A flashing light on the outside of the ink tray will indicate what cartridge needs to be replaced.

3 Remove the film, orange tape and protective cap from the replacement cartridge. You can throw away any trash. Do not touch the metal contacts on the new cartridge; this may cause the cartridge not to work.

4 Insert the front end of the replacement cartridge into the ink holder. Make sure you are placing the correct color in the correct spot. There is a sticker on the outside of the holder indicating what color goes where.

5 Apply pressure on the cartridge where it says "Push" until the cartridge snaps into place. The once flashing light should turn a solid red indicating the cartridge was replaced correctly.

6 Close the paper output tray. The Canon MX700 will start cleaning the printer heads. You cannot print during this time. The entire process may take a minute or two.

How do you load new printer cartriges

To replace an ink cartridge using the fonth.gif ink button, follow the steps below.
1. Make sure that the printer is on. The fontp.gif power light should be on, but not flashing.
2. Lower the output tray, then open the printer cover.
3. Press the fonth.gif ink button. The print head moves to the ink cartridge replacement position, the fontp.gif power light begins to flash, and the fonth.gif ink out light corresponding to the ink cartridge that needs to be replaced begins to flash or remains on.
4. Open the cartridge cover. Pinch the sides of the ink cartridge that you want to replace. Lift the cartridge out of the printer and dispose of it properly. Do not take the used cartridge apart or try to refill it.
5.Remove the new ink cartridge from its protective bag. Place the ink cartridge vertically into the cartridge holder. Then, push the ink cartridge down until it clicks into place. Do not apply excessive force to the cartridge.
6. When you are finished replacing the cartridge, close the cartridge cover and the printer cover.
7. Press the fonth.gif ink button. The printer moves the print head and begins charging the ink delivery system. The fonth.gif ink lights start flashing. This process takes about one minute to complete. When the ink charging process is finished, the printer returns the print head to its home position. The fontp.gif power light will stop flashing and remain on, and the fonth.gif ink out light will turn off. The fontp.gif power light will continue to flash while the printer is charging ink. Never turn off the printer while this light is flashing.

How do you change an ink cartridge on a vivera HP D4160 printer

Try these steps:
  1. Turn the printer over and flip it around to look at the back panel of the printer. Release the plastic tabs holding the access panel in place. As you open the panel you will see the ink cartridges lined up in a row, beginning with black and moving down the specific number of pigments your printer has. Each cartridge is held in place separately by a plastic tab.
  2. Step 2 Flip up the plastic tab of the color pigment you are replacing. Press the old cartridge forward and then pull straight back to release it from the cartridge cradle. Unpack the new cartridge from the foil wrapping and pull the clear plastic tape off of the bottom of the cartridge.
  3. Step 3 Slide the cartridge into the cartridge cradle, being sure to line up the arrows on the cartridge with the arrows on the cartridge cradle. Push the cartridge in until you hear a small snap, then flip the plastic holder tab down to secure the cartridge. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for each color that needs to be replaced, then close the panel, turn the printer over, and see if it recognizes the new cartridges. If the printer does not recognize the cartridges, open the access hatch, close it, and then turn the printer off and on again.
This will fix your problem.

My epson d88 printer has 2 flashing lights, the ink charge and paper feed lights. this is preventing me printing out. this happened after i tried to change my inks. can anybody help?

I just had the same problem. Try opening the top flap on the printer and see if you can click the lid down on the ink cartridge box more firmly (until it clicks) - i had to force the cartridges to the left slightly to do this, although I'm not sure if thats neccessary. Then i pushed the cartidge box back to the right where it was before. The 2 red lights still flashed for me, but when i turned the printer off and on again it worked just fine. I hope this helps.

C3150 print cartridge

  • Remove the cartridges.
  • Turn off the printer.
  • If the cartridges are leaking, put the print head on some tissue, so it can extract the excess ink. With a dry cloth, clean your scanner. Look inside the printer. If there is ink in there too, clean it. Use a lot of tissue or toilet paper. Might put some gloves on too.
  • When you make sure that the cartridges are not leaking anymore, gently wipe the electric contacts on them, and clean the ones on the cartridge carrier.
  • Turn the printer on.
  • Try printing.
  • If the cartridge light keeps flashing:
  1. If a computer message indicates a specific cartridge, that is the problem cartridge.
  2. If there is no computer message, look at the Start Copy lights - if the Black Start Copy light is blinking, the cartridge on the right is the problem cartridge.
  3. If the Color Start Copy light is blinking, the cartridge on the left is the problem cartridge.
If you find out which cartridge is the problem, you will need to replace it.
Unfortunately, the ink that has leaked inside, might have damaged your printer.

Canon mp160 error

E5 means one of three things.

1. The ink cartridges are not installed
2. The ink cartridges installed are not compatible
3. The ink cartridges are not installed correctly.

Are you using genuine Canon or a copy cartridge? If copy then they may not be correct. If they are genuine Canon you may need a new printhead.
