After going into service mode and clearing out all of the Department IDs, the screen to enter a department ID and password is still popping up (and there aren't any ID numbers). But now we are unable to hit the Additional Functions button (*) to get back into service mode, or to even just add new Department IDs, which is what we really want to do. Does anyone have any suggestions beyond turning on/off the machine?

) Go into Service Mode by hitting [Additional Functions-2 and 8-Additional Functions]
2) Select [COPIER]
3) Select [FUNCTION] (One of the buttons across the top of the LCD)
4) Select [CLEAR]
5) Scroll to screen two of the LCD using the Right arrow key.
6) Select [PWD-CLR]
7) Hit [OK]
8) Hit the RESET button twice in order to return to the Main LCD Screen.
This will turn off the Department ID Management feature on the machine (without deleting the configured Department IDs and Passwords) and will clear out (delete) the System Manager ID and Password.
This is the information plus additional if you need some extra service features.
If it is the system manager password, the one for the web management site, you will need to have a dealer or technician reset that in service mode.
If you are talking about your department ID code, you will need to talk to the person who manages those IDs.
If you are talking about a mailbox password, you should have your system manager reset your mailbox.
Press *, 2&8 (at same time), then * again to enter service mode. Select FUNCTION from the icons along the top of the screen. Press Clear and find PWD-CLR. Press PWD-CLR and press ok. Press RESET (yellow button) twice to exit service mode. Password should be removed.
