Question about Palm Treo 500 Centro
Every now and then, my Centro needs about 10-20 seconds to "contemplate" before executing a call after I enter the number or choose a phone book entry and press the green button. This unresponsiveness has also occured a couple of times in other applications, such as e-mail. I first thought it was related to Versamail fetching mail in the background, but it happens at other times as well.
My Centro freezes too on AT&T. I replaced it and the new one freezes. The solution?! Upgrade to Blackberry, which AT&T says it will do. THAT will make Palm fix the problem!

My Centro doesn't respond ("freeze") on incoming calls up to 10 times a day. The "answer" button (on the screen) and green "send" button (next to "phone") block and it is impossible to accept the incoming calls. It is necessary to perform a soft reset to solve the problem temporary. Even after hard reset the situation is the same. This is very frustrating for a new device. Sometimes, frequent callibration of the screen from the "Preferences" menue delays the freezing effect. AFAIK the problem is software-related, considering the recovery after reset. Is there any update on the palm support page / forums, related to the problem? I couldn't find any. From time to time, there is onother problem I experienced - from the contact menu it is difficult to dial the selected number. Sometimes it is necessary to press “dial” several times resulting in significant delay.
