Did you check if the DVD disk you are trying to play is actually playable? Mabe the player can't read the disk so reboots to radio. Also, you should try with another DVD disk
If disk is ok, recheck your original setup options, but I'm quite sure that it's some electronic failure of your device. Simply should not make sense some hidden option to play radio wnen you select the DVD player.
So your final optin probably should de take your device to repair service. Look at your original warranty for nearest authorized repair service, even if warranty has expired.
Do you have a manual with your Car Monitor? If you do there will be the frequency that it uses to transmit to your car stereo, probably listed under the audio or setup section. If you don't I suggest that you call Myron & Davis on 909-796-3199 and tell them your model and your problem, they will be able to tell you what frequency you need to set your radio to. You can also email them firstname.lastname@example.org. Their website is here if you have any other issues.
Try to look for a switch under the dash it should be a toggle switch , what happens is that the switch turns on the Fm modulater that transmitts the sound of the Dvd to the station. If that is not turn then you will hear the dvd player. If you turn the switch on then you will hear the radio become more static, that means that the Fm modulator is working
Well, It all kinda depends on how ur trying to hear it. Depening on the age and the model of the dvd player some models have a built in FM Modulator. This transmits the audio signal via your FM radio. Most Fm Modulators are preset out of the box with lower frequencies. Simply pop a disc in ur dvd player, Make sure the volume is up on the dvd system and tune ur radio to the matched setting of the Fm Modulator.
