National SR-MM10N rice cooker not working

I have been used this rice cooker for over 6 years and it worked great until
now....
I plug in the power cord, the display looks normal, menu works good.
But after I select any cooking menu, press start... LCD changes to
"H 02" in 1-2 second and no buttons work anymore.

Thanks for help!

I had similar problems.

There are some wires connecting the lid and the main unit. These wires run behind the hinge area and over time they got clipped from opening/closing the lid.

To fix the problem, you will have to open up the hinge unit and the top lid and reconnect (soldering) the disconnected wires.

I fixed mine more than once. IMO it's a design flow.

Again, don't attempt unless you know electrical wiring and feel comfortable with soldering. Make sure you cover the exposed wires with proper electric tape. You don't want to mix electricity with water and steam as there are much in the lid.

Try it in a different outlet. Does the unit have a light that comes on when plugged in? If the light is in the cord and the light is still out on a different outlet, the cord may be faulty. If it lights, check to see that the connection between the cord and cooker is tight.

open the bottom side of your unit.. then check the resistance of thermal fuse, it's look like resistor which is connected to line wire, usually covered by insulator..
