Can not access device neither directly nor via PC

When I turn the power button it goes through language set-up (English) and the the message is displayed:
"Not enough momery (sic!) connect to PC and delete 4M of songs for Sansa system files"
When I hook-up to PC I can not access the drive, error message is:
"E:\ is not accesible
The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error."

I have tried different computers, cables and USB ports.

Can not get in english

Navigate to your device's settings and select the language option. Change the language to English.

Note:
Since the displayed language is not English, it may be difficult to find the settings and the language option. Continue to select options until the language option is found.

Accessing the Micro-SD content

assuming you want to access through the player, you may be able to switch storage devices in the settings, connect the unit to a pc via usb and search in my computer in the folder on your player or remove and place in a card reader connected to a pc.

I have a apple ipod A1199 my little brother got a hold of it now its in some forien language that i cant read how do i get the menue to read american again?

No problem, you'll just need to do a full reset to restore the language to English.

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.

If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to power.

LANGUAGE IS NOT ENGLISH

It was your setting. You can change it to english.
For sansa clip:
1. From main menu, select settings (picture with 4 bars)
2. Use up/down button to find " FM...", the language option is right about FM..., select it and use up / down button to find English.
3. Press home button to come back main menu
Good luck
For sansa clip plus:
1. the same as about.
2. Getting into Settings, you have 4 options (Music, Audiobook, Radio, and System Settings). Languages with letters (a, b, c, ....), you can see "Radio...." option, move the selection bar down 1 - it is System Settings. If Languages without letters a, b, c, ...., you have to get in to each option, at each option you move the selection bar down or up to find letters " USB...." , it means you are inside System Settings, from USB, press down button 6 times, and select it (language option), scroll up/ down to select English.
3. The same
Good luck

Pressed the wrong button when removing from computer and set it for a foreign language. Need to know how to set it back to English.

I'm not sure what language you have it in, but turn your mp3 player on, go down 5 times and select, go down 5 times and select again, english is the first selection on the next screen. If this does not work let me know so I can try to assist you more.

How to get my language back to english

Select your language.
If you have an iPod nano or Fifth Generation iPod (iPod with video):
  1. Scroll down to the last menu option but don't select it.
  2. Scroll up one menu item. This should be Settings.
  3. Press the Center (Select) button. This takes you to the Settings menu.
  4. Scroll down to the last menu option but don't select it; in English, this is the "Reset All Settings" option.
  5. Scroll up to the third menu item from the bottom one. This should be Language.
  6. Press the Center button to select Language.
  7. Select your preferred language from the list.
If you have an older iPod with color display (including iPod photo)
  1. Scroll to the fourth menu item in the screen and press the Center (Select) button. This takes you to the Settings menu.
  2. Scroll down to the last menu option but don't select it; in English, this is the "Reset All Settings" option.
  3. Scroll up to the third menu item from the bottom one. This should be Language.
  4. Press the Center button to select Language.
  5. Select your preferred language from the list.
If your iPod has a monochrome display (black and white):
  1. Scroll to the third menu item in the screen and press the Center (Select) button.
If the instructions above don't enable you to change the language on your iPod, try using the "Reset All Settings" option at the bottom of the Settings menu. If the Reset All Settings option does not work, you can restore your iPod back to factory condition and reselect the display language.

Change the settings

i got one off ebay just a few fays ago and the language was stuck in chinese, so after just testing the MP34 i found out how to change the langauge into English.

Click into the 'two rotating items',
Then, go down to the 4th settings, i.e 04/11. This is Languages.
After entering that, click into the 2nd option. i.e 02/25. This is English settings.
And hopefully it should be done.
