The Haynes manual I have covers the 94-04 Sephia and Spectra, so the procedure would be different. Especially if your Rio is a hatchback. I would suggest you pick-up a Haynes manual that covers your little car. It's quite handy for any repairs you can do yourself. And to educate yourself against less than honest mechanics. I covers interior/body as well as the electricals of the audio system. And everything in between.
each speaker in your car runs the wiring thru an amp. So each spkear has its own amp for the bose system. You can not hook up a none bose radio If you do you will need to run new wires and replace all the speakers. Sorry.
To fill a 94 Kia sephia 5speed tranny you need to take the spedo gear out the big black plastic part sticking out of the top of the tranny close to the firerwall by the bell housing unscrews after you unplug it then you'll need a 10 mm socket and ratchet there's a rubber o ring that will give you a little resistance then you get a funnel and 80w-90 gear oil and your set.

the speakers have a neg/positive wire make sure you hooked them up right easiest thing to do is hook up the power and start with two speaker wires once you have sound coming from a speaker label them with masking tape .
