Front water disspencer quit working. - Amana 22.6 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator with FrontFill Ice and Water

You should be able to push it back up in the clip and it should stay in place it's like a big paper clip shine the light from the outside and you should see the clip then just push it in and it should hold

All you do it fill the bleach dispenser up to the fill line and leave it. It will dispense the bleach at the proper time during the rinse cycle.

Check that the ball valve is opened all the way on the feed water line.

First question:Are the rest of the machine still working correctly?
Second question:How was the waterflow before descalling?

Here are short description on how most of these machines work.

It will have a cold water reservoir for filling with cold water with some sort of water full sensor, it will then be followed with a high pressure pump.which are used to fill the boiler.After the boiler it will then go out to your to disspencers.in your case the steamer and one for coffee.The outlet at the boiler will propably be split in two by using valves.

To come back to your problem i assume it had a waterflow probleme before you descalled.When you are descaling your machine their are some times pieces of scale that is not propably disolved by the descaling process which will get stuck in the pipe work acting as a valve
causing waterflow problemes.

The other probleme might be that your water dispencers valve might be faulty either by a poor supply(power) or the sollenoid is starting to size up.

Just switch of the machine when taking of any covers you are working with water and electricity which do not mix well

Remove the dispenser tray and check to make sure your slot hasn't iced over. I've found that the seals as they wear out tend to let moisture inside the dispenser and it freezes up.

Listen to the water valve when the lever for water is pushed. If it doesn't hum look there first. If it is humming and no water check the filter and see if the reservoir behind the crisper bins has frozen. (If the frig was extra cold recently I would look there first.

1.No water or water sprinkling pump failure etc.

2.Try pouring water from the front to suffcient qty and run the machine. Due to air-lock also pump does not pump stream

3. If you can disable the door switch and try
the machine without the vessel rack.

Be careful the water will splash all over the room. Better you cover with a transparent polythene sheet to check.

Mostly your water jet pump not getting on. you can watch for the pump sound also.

That is a SUDS LOCK. Open the front panel to access the drain pump filter. Clean it out. Run several cycles without any detergent to clear out the soap being retained in the washer. If you are not using H.E. soap, switch to it. Use the amount of detergent specified on the package. Front load machines will not work correctly with excessive soap and the laundry gets no cleaner with more soap.Also use high water levels not medium or low. Use hot water whenever possible to reduce the suds residue.

Check water valves on back of fridge, one is for the ice maker and other is for water dispenser. Need to get the correct and complete model number listed on front and near floor behind the fresh food door. Problem may be the water valve in back or the dispenser switch on the front. let me know and I will try to get it going for you.
