Hello stretchv(?St.Francis) & alk45. this appears as a mutual problem. I "NEED MORE INPUT" . Does the unit peform any functions? Does a PWR indicator lightup? If you got the GUTS open the unit up CAREFULLY and unplug the display PCbd, clean the contact surfaces with a #2 pencil eraser or if it uses a ribbon cable reseat the plugs carefully. Oh yes, make sure it is uplugged form the AC power BEFORE you put a screw driver to it. Good Luck.

Unfortunately, there can be many problems. You could have a display driver bad, or the display itself, etc. For more information, or should you have further questions, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me through the website. Thank you.

Hi - I have been recording some of my vinyl albums onto CD's for several months now. All of a sudden, when I went to use the turntable yesterday, I can't get the Record light to light. What am I...

If the red indicator on the record button does not light, reload a record-able dics, wait a few seconds until "NO TOC" and "CR-R" (or "CD-RW") indicators light on the display, and press the record button again. BE sure your using the CD -R or -RW disc and make sure to use a disc bearing the "Digital Audio" mark on it.

Not really a problem. I just want to know the correct setting of the power "slide". It looks like 3 different settings could be available. My question is: Does the smooth part of the slide...

Really? What does your gut and the plain labeling on it t tell you? Those settings are NOT ust suggestions.

The make and model number didn't display. What are they?

Pioneer cdj 800 mk2 playing mp3s, jogwheel & screen dont work

More than likely the contact pad (aka Membrane pad) is probably damaged... or the flat cable which connects to the main processor, might be loose, or damaged.

You'll need to get this professionally checked out by a qualified technician. It's not an easy fix.

Hi,

It sounds like a power supply to the both display pcb's is missing, unfortuanetly i wouldnt recommend attempting to fix this yourself, if you havent had it repaired then you can send it to us.

My LCD Display

Well, one of 2 things may have gone bad...

1) Ribbon Cable
2) LCD PC Board

The first is easily fixed. The second, is not. As for service centers, I suggest you contact Pioneer - www.pioneerelectronics.com
