PAL is the European lines of resolution, NTSC is a stateside. In nutshell PAL has more lines of resolution but won't work in the states unless you have a screen that will accept both.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Car TFT LCD monitor with only an s-video cable input??

A bit late on this! You will need a multi cable for the unit. It connects with the cable on the monitor and the other end has several terminals, usually like so.... NTSC video, audio, bat positive and battery negative. Could also be left and right audio.

It sounds like your amp is not grounded properly and is tryin to use your radio as a ground through the RCA's or there is a bad channel (dead short) in the amp.

A blue screen suggests no input signal, or a signal that the electronics in the screen can't handle. I don't think you need the remote, but, it may help. I suggest you try the dvd on a working monitor and check that it's a compatible output. The LM-S6001 is a multi-system monitor both NTSC(US) and PAL(Europe/Aisa). The monitor has a composite video (usually yellow) and RCA(phono) input and DIN, the manufacturer is unclear if both plugs are present. You can assume it's auto-switching, but that may not be the case. More information is needed to fully understand your problem. 1. make/model of DVD. 2. description of external plugs on monitor.
