Miele dishwasher turns on but no water comes into cabinet; I hear a humming sound but the water does not flow.
I have checked and cleaned the triple filter in the drain (clean) and also the filter where water flows into the machine (took out filter basket and washed it, but was clear).
I am wondering if the machine has a pump which could be burnt out, or perhaps a sensor is not working? Any suggestions would be appreciated

If the valve is humming and the tap is on it should fill.is there a plv fitted to the tap somtimes they fail.i had one today on an asko for not filling.remove the hose from the dishwasher and turn the hose on into a bucket to see if water comes through.the valve could still be faulty.hope this helps.

It doesn't fill up with water inside the washing area (not water visible at all), but after a while it starts to drip water on the floor and the dripping (quite a lot of water) continues a long time after the machine and water supply is turned up, so somewhere it fills up with water.
Water supply is ok, I checked and cleaned the filter a bit, and the drain pump seems to be working too.
Miele G665. I turn the machine on but no water comes into it. The stopcock has been checked and water comes out of it if the inlet hose is disconnected. The screen on the inlet is clear but no water coming in to the dishwasher at all.
