PS2 slimline I have a console two years old starts fine through browser sequence and Playstation 2 logo but at load it begins to move so slow almost not at all and game never loads up

There are no browser on playstation 2, for an online play you need a network adaptor or slimline ps2. Still when i checked for example killzone 1 multiplayer like 5 years ago one lonely person was playing so it's not worth the cost and trouble.
it might be a problem in the wiring which would have to be fixed by an expert. also you could tey cleaning the disk tray using a compressed air can. you can find these cans at most place like walmart or electronic stores.
It is highly possible that your Laser Lens has melted. You can try to clean the lens. Do Not use alcohol. It is best to use a toothepick lightly to swipe the dust from the lens. If your Lens is Melted, you will need a new laser. Post a picture of your Laser in here and I can tell you which part number you need.
