How do i get my webcam to work im trying to download in in my computer is that how it works

What was it working with, the software? What happens when you open the same software it was working with now?

According to the reading I just did, neither Windows Live Messenger or AOL Instant Messenger for Mac OS X have viable webcam support, particularly in the area of sending webcam from Mac to PC. I suggest both you and the person you are trying to webcam with download Skype, from  http://www.skype.com/download/skype/macosx/

This website contains the solution for the EXACT problem you describe. I had the same problem and stumbled across it and it helped a lot.
It's pretty easy.

Open up regedit (Start -> run -> type: regedit, hit enter)

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlClass{6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}

Double click on "LowerFilters" delete any value found. (Should be: lvmvdrv or LVUSBSta).

restart your computer.
Should work now.

try it run on nothher pc wid ur downloaded driver. also make sure dat the driver u have downloaded , is for vista or not????

Try defragmenting your hard drive.

Use that site to download your drivers
Use www.hwinfo.com, download software to find the maker of your webcam.
Download as many drivers that match. If a driver does not fit your system your computer will recognize it and reject it.

Hi, i just looked up the website and found this driver i aint sure if its the one u tried. http://204.247.157.162/ezcam3_ts/ezcam3_drv_02.htm unplug the webcam, install the file from the download above, if it comes up new hardware found and asks for driver, give it the location where the file extracts to. if it dont go into control panel, device manager, see if you see a "a usb device, unknown device along that lines with a yellow tag beside it, double click on it if its yellow and select update driver and give it the location of extracted files.. and hopefully you will get it working..
