RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100 Problem

Battery ran out of power, recharge. Now the phone will not power up.

Have you tried removing and replacing the battery. Or perform a soft reset:
To restart your pearl:
SOFT RESTART:
press alt + shift + delete all at the same time.

But I usually just take off the batery and put it back in to restart..

Three things: 1 ) it could be your port is bad
2) it could be your charger
3) it could be your battery
The best thing to do is contact your service provider, if none contact bbery.

Blackberry pearl will not charge. The charger is known good and the battery will charge in another pearl.


it may be that ur phone battery reuire more power than other so u should use only genuine blackberry charger otherwise its results may b harmful

Blackberry pearl won't turn on


There are no special ways of turning on the Blackberry.

Simply power on - it is fully charged - if this doesn't work, remove the battery for a couple of seconds and re-try power on.

Try holding these keys simultaneoulsy.
ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE Until you get a blank screen then power on.

Failing that power off, remove your battery for 30 seconds and then power on.

Try performing a hard reset: remove the battery from the device while it is still powered on, leave it out for 30 seconds, then reinsert.

Cant hear when someone calls me


I have A Blackberry Pearl I can only hear if I use the head set or speaker any solutions the phone hasn't been dropped, I have taken the battery out and put it back in still cant hear unless I use handset or speaker
