Sound after uploading from my Flip Video Camera

I have the new flip ultra video camera and when I upload the video bits to my computer (using the camera's software), the option for saving it in a more compacted -- easy to email -- format ends up doing something bizarre to the sound. The videos all have a weird high squeely sound to them. When I upload the video bits using the larger "save to computer" format this problem is not there.

Help!??

When I email video from my Flip Mino, the sound is sped up, just like "the chipmonks" cartoon. Is this normal? If so, I'm taking this thing back, if not, how do I fix it? Thanks! -Clark

Try re-encoding them using Virtual-Dub or something, OR, what you can do, is extract the sound from the good copy, (the higher quality large original file), and plop it into the lower quality file, (using Virtual Dub

My Flip video Error code 17,2 - won't connect to software

Tech Support at least found a solution to upload.

Remove the battery from the Flip, then insert into PC. You may have to manually uninstall the driver association during the previous hardware failures (Use Control Panel, Device Manager, Hardware, USB Devices - then right click the yellow ? icon to uninstall).

If you are lucky, you will now see your videos. Upload to your PC, then insert the battery pack while connected. Unplug the Flip, wait 10 seconds, and try again.

If this solves your problem, charge by connecting to a PC for 6 hours to make sure you have a full battery charge.

Flip Video Mino keeps freezing up, can't shut down or upload

At least the following works on my first generation Flip Ultra camcorder (not Mino). Remove battery, put it back next morning. After that be careful not to touch "on" slider switch on the side of the camcorder while Flip logo is still on the screen. I mean turn the device on by using the slider switch and do not touch that switch again until Flip logo on the screen is gone. Doing the opposite (trying to use the "on" switch again while device is still "booting" and Flip logo is on the screen) will lead to the Flip Ultra freeze.

My videos are not uploading to you tube from my flip ultra. It errors out at 20% complete every time.

Try uploading small sized video files or try uploading after converting the video in flash, this should prevent the time-outs from the place u are uploading the files to.u can even try sending them as *.swf.......sodeep

Flip HD Won't Return to Full 60-minutes-Recycle Bin Doesn't Work

Don't know if you ever found your solution, but check out this page - http://manitouheights.com/2009/09/03/flip-mino-ultra-camera-video-show-correct-time-remaining/.

I've also discovered that you shouldn't click on the little box to erase the videos after transferring them to your computer. That's what seems to screw up the timer.
