Forwarding ALL incoming calls

I am trying to find a manual on how to trasfer all incoming calls to a certain extension. I have looked on line but have had no luck.

How do you actually set incoming calls to go to our prerecorded message, where callers can enter a code to leave a voicemail message by choosing which person they want to do so with by entering their extension number. How do I go to "lunch" so to speak as the receptionist without the phone ringing?

I believe this what your looking for. It covers the 3000 series phones. If it is you're good to go. Don't forget to rate please. ( if it's not quite the right one, wait to rate, add a comment that you need a different one and I'll get right back to you.) http://www.toshiba.com/taistsd/common_dsd/pdf/Toshiba-Strata-CIX-IPT-UG.pdf

Is there a way to forward an incoming call to another number?

Call forwarding is a service offered by your telephone company, and the procedure varies from company to company. Please contact your telephone company for their procedures for forwarding calls (and cancelling call forwarding).

I have a problem with my Samsung iDCS 28D phone. All incoming calls used to be routed to me by default (unless caller specifically punched in a different extension). Calls are now being routed directly to...

try dialing 600 to clear call forwarding, then re-set your forwarding to busy/ no answer followed by the VM number.

I have uploaded a 'how to' video, more of these are at http://www.abbeytelecom.com

I hope this helps.

My Phone model is Panasonic KX-7250X How do you forward incoming calls to another extension

Forwarding is 710x plus the extension, where x is 2 for all 3 for busy 4 is no answer and 5 is no answer/busy.

These are the TD system forwarding commands.

Incoming calls: When we receive an incoming call,

Extension call forwarding is controlled by a timer, and they put these things in the manual. If your CF after 2 rings is from a call to a specific extension, from that extension, dial *713 and a 2 digit number from 00-99 seconds on the intercom. Start with 18.

If your call forwarding is from intercept, then you have a system programming issue and need to look in the installer's manual or check with your system programmer.

Why does another extension ring at my extension

Someone thought it'd be a good idea for your extension to back up that extension when answsering incoming calls, or their extension is forwarded to yours. Either cancel the call forwarding with the right code (be careful not to remove forwarding to voicemail), or have someone remove the program on your extension which makes you a backup to the other one.

I want all incoming calls to come through my extension only.

What it sounds like you want to do is restrict the automatic system answering to certain extensions. This is done via feature code 204.

To identify the lines on which outside calls should be answered by the system:
  1. Press feature +(00)+(system program)+(system program)+#204
  2. Enter the two-digit system line number of the desired line.
  3. To assign or unassign the line, press (Next Data) until the appropriate value appears.
    1 = Assigned
2 = Not Assigned (the factory setting)
  4. To identify another line, press (next item)or (prev. item) until the line number appears on the display. Then repeat Step 3.
  5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for all the lines that you want to identify.
  6. Select another procedure, or exit programming mode.

Call forwarding

The 50 command is for call forwarding of an individual phone, not the incoming calls. There are several conditions that have to be met to make forwarding work. First, you need your ICD group extension. It's generally 600, but we use 100 or 199 or 200 sometimes. The command is in the back of the Operations Manual (OM) and it is in the form of (assuming 600) *71416009+number#. *7140600 cancels.

Here's a copy of the manual, just in case you don't have one. Page 192 shows the sequence. You might also look at *710 command on the same page for setting forwarding. It is quicker than the 50 commands and sets the status of your FWD/DND button.

Need help forwarding phones

The programming on the Samsung should be set so that your highest line number is selected when you call out, this leaves your first line available for incoming calls. If you want to access line 701 from any phone you should be able to just dial 701 instead of dialing " 9 ". Let me know how is goes. ...Mike

Call forwarding

Hi,

I don't know if you've got this sorted yet or if you're still looking for a solution. If you are still looking, try the following:

From the phone the calls currently ring at, try dialling:

7102, followed by the new extension number you want the calls to ring at. You should hear a confirmation tone and then you should be sorted.

To cancel this and go back to normal, at the original phone dial 7100.

Let me know if this works! :)
