White film is all over my inside of the dish washer & dishes

the film on your elemend and dishes is more then likely soap residue.try useing less soap. if this is a new dishwasher it probably uses less water then your older one did so you will need to modify your soap usage. if you have had the dishwasher for a while then your valve is clogged or not opening all the way. check the brass elbow for mineral deposits and replace it and valve if buildup is seen

That's lime build up.Buy some c.l.r. (calcium,lime,rust) remover from a supermarket.Pour a cup in and run a long cycle,you may have to repeat this until it's gone.

You need to use something with citric acid too try and clean out the calcium deposits inside dishwasher, you can get cleaner at the store or run a can of frozen orange juice thru it or a small bottle of apple cider vinegar. Do this with no dishes inside.

I had the same problem. Only thing that worked for me was adding Glass Magic. No more white film for me.

white film generally shows that there is not enough salt in the dishwasher, this is not normal salt like on your meal, you buy this from the detergent section of the store, add salt through the part where it says "S" unscrew the cap and put about 2 cups of it in, while filling with salt water will overflow out of the same place, this is normal this will start to work after about a wash or so if the salt is fine then check the heater on the machine, make sure its warming up etc if i have helped please rate me
