Please be advised that if the MP 150 is displaying the letter E followed by number 3, this would indicate a paper jam. However, if it is flashing E, then 3 and then another digit, an error requiring servicing might have occurred.Turn Off the machine and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. After a few minutes, plug the power cord of the machine back in and turn On the machine. If the same error occurs, contact a Canon service representative
For errors of this type E,2,x, like yours, the manual says to turn the machine off, and remove the power plug from the outlet. About ten minutes later, plug it in again, and turn the machine on. If the problem is not resolved, the machine may require servicing. Please contact your local Service Center.
Our pixma MP150 printer has a flashing E and flashing 5, also flashing on alarm, black ink and color ink. We have replaced the ink cartridges but nothing happens. They were empty. The printer doesnt recognize that the cartridges are there. We have tried unplugging the cords and taking the cartridges out and putting them in again. Also, it wont scan a thing either. ITs likes its frozen in the error. What can we do to fix this?
