In Windows XP, The STOP: 0×0000007B: error often occurs if you move a hard drive that contains Windows XP to another computer or if you have just installed a newmotherboard or drive controller. This error occurs in these cases because your registry does not contain driver entries for the current motherboards drive controller. So in effect, the device driver that Windows XP is loading from the registry will not work with the new drive controller.
