I am a legitimate key code of MS Office Home Student 2007. When my preloaded Toshiba asks for the 25 digit key code, it will not accept my legitimate 25 characters. Any thoughts? It's all fully honest...just doesn't work. Please don't try to give me hack codes...I want to be legal. Thank you.

You would need to obtain a code from Microsoft, Most new laptops come with office Preloaded but only as a trial, once you make a purchase from Microsoft you would receive a key code which you can enter in and activate your office product. You have to remember to buy a keycode for the office version installed on your computer. For example if you have office 2010 home and student installed you would need to buy a code for 2010 home and student. If you purchased a different version you would then need to uninstall your current version and install the version you bought the code for.
Laptops that have pre-installed Microsoft Office in it usually have 60-day trial version or Microsoft Office starter. The trial version may be a Home edition and has the full features but will ask for a product key after the trial period expires. The MS Office Starter only has limited features for MS Word and Excel only, but this is not a trial version.
If you want to continue using the trial MS Office or want the full functionality of MS Word and MS Excel plus MS powerpoint etc, you need to follow the steps provided to activate or purchase a product key from the application itself. You need to purchase the product key from Microsoft since this program is unfortunately not free.
That Laptop came with a MS Office 07 home and student "trial version" (It only works for 60 days or 30 uses I guess) that is no longer supported by Microsoft Office so there is no way to get the 25 product key.
Buy you can enter into office.microsoft.com and get the Office 2010 beta that its free at this time or get another evaluation version or... purchase the full version of the software
As said by someone earlier you need to buy a legal copy for ms office in order to do ur work on word or excell or so forth. well if u dont wanna buy .. just un-install the ms office and then got to microsoft website and instal a trial version for it and that will give u 30 days free trail and buy than finish ur work and once u got money just buy it if u want to use in future..
