IF THE WASHER IS NOT PUMPING THE WATER THROUGH YOUR DRAIN, AND YOU HEAR THE PUMP RUNNING, YOUR DRAIN LINE FROM THE WASHER TO THE SINK DRAIN IS CLOGGED. DISCONNECT HOSE FROM SINK DRAIN AND VACCUM OUT, OR RUN A WIRE OR SOMETHING SMALL BUT STIFF TO LOOSEN THE CLOGGED HOSE. NOW RUN THE WASHER AND ALLOW SOME WATER TO BUILD UP IN THE WASHER, IF WATER ALREADY EXISTS THEN TURN KNOB ON WASHER TO DRAIN. MAKE SURE YOU HEAR WATER DRAINING IN SINK AND PROBLEM SOLVED. IF THE PUMP MOTOR IS NOT TURNING AT ALL , BUT YOU CAN HEAR IT ENGAGE, THEN TURN WASHER OFF, TAKE FRONT BOTTOM PANELS OFF, LOOK FOR THE MOTOR AND TAKE YOUR HAND AND ROTATE THE MOTOR CLOCKWISE A FEW TURNS AND THEN COUNTER-CLOCKWISE A FEW TURNS, IT WILL FEEL LIKE A DISC IN THE FRONT OF THE MOTOR. IF YOU DON'T FEEL A DISC AT THE FRONT OF THE MOTOR, THEN LOOK AT THE BACK OF THE MOTOR AND YOU SHOULD SEE WHAT LOOKS LIKE SOME BLADES. NOW TAKE A SCREWDRIVER AND ROTATE IT CLOCKWISE AND THEN COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. MAKE SURE YOU GET SOME ROTATATION WITH EITHER METHOD THAT YOU HAVE TO USE. YOU WILL FILL RESISTANCE AT FIRST, BUT KEEP TRYING TO TURN THE MOTOR. AFTER GETTING IT TO MOVE, TURN THE WASHER ON NORMAL CYCLE AND ALLOW TO RUN. IT SHOULD DRAIN WITH NO PROBLEMS. REMEMBER THIS IS JUST BUILD-UP INSIDE THE WASHER AROUND THE INSIDE OF THE PUMP AREA. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BREAK IT LOOSE. IT MAY SOUND LIKE A HARD TASK , BUT IT IS QUITE EASY. YES IT IS WORTH FIXING, BECAUSE IT WILL COST YOU NOTHING. IT TOOK LONGER FOR ME TO TYPE THIS THAN TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM. TO KEEP THIS PROBLEM FROM COMING BACK, OR COMING BACK MORE OFTEN, ALWAYS SCRAPE EXCESS FOOD IN TRASHCAN AND RINSE THE DISHES OFF WITH WATER BEFORE PUTTING THEM IN THE WASHER. ALSO PULL THE BOTTOM RACK OF THE WASHER ALL THE WAY OUT AND CHECK THE FILTER SCREEN TO SEE IF IT IS CLOGGED. IF IT IS UNCLOG IT . THIS TAKES APPROXIMATELY 30 TO 45 MINUTES, AND SAVES YOU $$$$.

Hello,
This model new was around $1000 dollars. I would put a few bucks into to get it back up and running. The most common issue is the circulation pump. The pump freezes up and will often cause this issue.

My dishwasher turns on and all the lights work. It sounds like it's filling up with water, but it never actually runs through any of the cycles. If I leave it running for a while it will continue to...

It's worth repairing.

Check water level switch inside the machine.
Check the inlet solenoid for proper operation. It might have got stuck and remain
in open condition always. You can reach this area by opening the back door of the machine. give a gentle tap with a wooden piece on the valve , it may return to the closed position.

Clean all the inlet and drain areas of the machine.

Bosch dishwasher has high pitched squealing noise when it is filing

A high-pitched sound which occurs when filling is usually cavitation - air in the water valve causes a kind of "squeal". It's relatively harmless, but can be annoying. You may need a new inlet valve. But first just try detaching and re-attaching the hoses to the valve. Sometimes that's enough to fix it.
