I did this--i.e. clikt XP Screen, got "Display Properties" window, then clikt "Power" button, and lo & behold found that it was set to turn monitor off after 10 minutes, so I clicked here for the Drop Menu, which was humungously long, with a "Never" at the end. I clikt "Never", then clickt "Apply"; then ok & that screen vanished & I was left w the "Display Properties" window so I clikt "OK" & that window also vanished. I think this may solve my problem but have to wait a bit to see if the Monitor stays on. I'm twinkle & hope to get back to u'all with a thumbs up.

Addendum to my immediately-previous comment: The screensaver tab is in the Display Properties dialogue box (or window), as Puneet indicated. When I clikt the power button, the "Power Options Properties" box pops up. Beside "Turn off monitor" is where the Drop Menu is where I selected "Never" at the bottom of the list. ~~~~ At first, all this didn't work, so I went back to the sys desktop & right-clikt & learned this time, how easy it is to apparently select all these changes, and then not have them SAVED! So be sure when you see numbers counting down that u click whatever you're posta clik before u run out of time. In short, BE SURE YOU'RE CHANGES ARE SAVED. My computer has now been on for a couple of hours or so since I made this change, and not once has the screen gone black. And nor has that awful word, "Analog" appeared in the upper right corner of my FLATRON LG Monitor! --MAG

Go the desktop, right click with mouse and select properties (if it is XP) then it will open Display properties -->

There you need to go to Screen saver and then to Power option

Disable any power off mode on/ Sleep mode. It will solve your problem.

Please rate the solution. Otherwise let me know for further assistance.

Otherwise, go to Control Panel there you will find the Power Management or Power Option.

Either disable the Sleeping mode, Power saver or you can choose the option say 1 Hour, 2 hours etc.

    Thanks

The screen is black and a blue box in the middle that states "analog out of range. 67.0kHz/60Hz

Try to see if this works on another computer first, if it does, then it assumes the monitor is ok.
Then as the computer boots up, boot to safe mode by pressing F8 and once in that state, set the display to a mode that the graphics card will support.
If none of the full colour options work, the graphics card may be incompatible, try changing the graphics card.

Installed Dell 1905fp monitor -- message showing "analog input - cannot display this video mode"

The native resolution of this monitor is 1280x1,024 2 60Hz, your PC video card resolution is set too high for it to display. Bootup in safe mode (hit F8 while booting up), then select VGA support, set the resolution to 1280x1,024 2 60Hz, then reboot.

Our LG l227wtg monitor goes into analog power saving mode and I don't know how to restore so I can veiew / use.

try this: Go to Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Power Options. Change the power scheme to "Always On". if that does not fix it upon restart you may need a driver update for your video card try this:

1- Restart your computer
2- Press F8 during the start up
3- Choose safe mode with Networking
4- Login as Administrator
5- Download the lastest driver of your video card
6- Perform the installation of the driver
7- Restart your computer

SVA Monitor stuck in Analog Mode or Sleep Mode

Actually it was quite easy. I rebooted my computer in "safe mode" by restarting it and pressing the F8 key. At the start up windows gives you an option to toggle down to "enable VGA mode" and select it. After that, my computer recognized my monitor and it has worked fine ever since!
