I have a panasonic KX-T7730 and through trial and error i have found out how to change the time.
Press Program. PITS-PGM N)? should come up on the screen.
Then press O
This should give a list of digits on the screen.
The first 6 digits is the current date in yrmmdd format.
Then there is a space and a single number. I represents monday 2 represents tuesday 3 represents wednesday and so on.
The next set of numbers is the current time in 12 hour format.
The last number is either 0 for am or 1 for pm.
Press auto dial/store when you have entered all the relevant numbers to save.
For example to set 3pm today you would type 090406 1 03:00 1

Program 0 set date then set time

Posted on Mar 24, 2008

I hit Program then the number 0, it will read out something like
080320 4 03:43 1
Not sure about all the numbers but once you see the read out copy it and then type in the change using the numbers
08 - the year
03 - the month
20 - the day
no spaces
type in 4 because it was there i just wanted to change the time
then the new time
0407 and then the 1 because it was there
I'm sure it was for PM but was happy to just get the time changed

Again no apces or other keys just the numbers
Once done
I hit the Auto Dial/Store
it returned me to the program and I clicked program and ended it.

Date and time were what I wanted.

Good Luck

How do we keep our Panasonic KX-T7731 from changing back to night mode? I recently reset the time and every time I do it changes to night mode. How do I permanently set my phone system on day mode?

This has about 5 different conditions, so let me start somewhere.

Pretending your 7731 is connected to a recent Panasonic KSU, like a TA series, you have the ability to set the time by hand, or CID delivered in the first call after 2 or 3 AM will do it. If the sender is still on standard time (typical with VoIP delivered CID), then it will reset the clock to a different time (-1 hour) every day and it will be noticed if you set the clock and the first call of the day follows.

In addition, via programming from the main phone, you can set manual or automatic switching for day, night, and lunch modes. That procedure is outlined in the Programming Manual for your system, but it involves setting the clock times in Maintenance console 1.4 or programs 006 and 007.

If you absolutely want to never have to deal with clocks or night mode, then set 006 to manual and dial 781# on the intercom from the main phone (x101).

Note that this is only the solution for TA series KSU's.

I have a panasonic kx-t7731...having trouble setting the speed dial...any help would be appreciated. the users guide information doesn't seem to work. thank you!

A 7731 phone will function on any one of 18 or so different Panasonic system cabinets. Now, which "user guide" are you looking at? SYSTEM speed dial is set from the first extension or the maintanance console of the phone system. PERSONAL FEATURE (speed dials on the right side of the phone) are pretty much universally programmed by PROGRAM button, 9+ number STORE.

What do your instructions say?

Do not know how to set the "ring over busy" feature on the panasonic KX-T7731

Panasonic calls that "call waiting". As answered previously, dial 7311# and 7321# on the intercom for a TA series system.

Panasonic kx-t7731 phone.... How do you set the screen on the phone so it reads the date and or time?

With the phone idle, you keep pressint the * (or the TRANSFER key) until what you want is on the display. It uses one or the other key because the 77xx phone works on more than one system.
