Will not run. i set the speed and motor still not

Will not run. manually, i set the speed and motor still not turning on. i checked the power in and at the trip fuse, all good i do hear and feel the start solenoid activate (on power board,w/ small transformer) all touchpad functions respond and set right. no voltage going to motor. if you tell me which pins to read i can do this and check for proper volt

I have a 2002 Citroen C5 the motor still runs at full all the time

When the Automatic Climate Control is set, you are no longer in control of settings and fan speeds. The sensors make the unit run at full speed and don't power down until the set temperature is reached. If you have the temperature set to 18'C (Max Cold), it is likely to never achieve that. If you want to take control back, you need to take it from Auto, to Manual. If it still does it, you need to go to an auto electrician who will use a pro grade scan tool to check on communications to the Body Control Module and the sensors controlling AC, Heating, and Fan Speeds.

This is the Owner Manual covering Climate Control

Bryant furance cat.# 333BAV048080, with A/C cooling selected, blower motor during high speed operation stopped running, but the outside A/C unit was still running.Check that the motor is free wheeeling....

Hello, sincebthe motor will not run in heating and cooling the first thing to do is check the capacitor, set your meter to ohms and disscharge the capacitor with a screwdriver, if the capacitor is good the meters numbers should ramp up and down, if not the capacitor is bad. To check the motor turn off power to the unit and take you meter and measure from the common wire to each other wire coming from the motor, you should have resistance,if not the motor is bad and must be repalaced. To check the board place one meter lead on the cool/high speed motor tap and the other lead to ground, if therebis no power on a call for cooling the board is bad.

Error L5 came up. My friend fell off if and of course the machine stopped because of the emergency cable. But now it won't run the belt.

Belts stop turning and “err LS” Speed sensor.
1. Cycle power off and on. 2. Put the machine in calibration mode (see Calibration procedure in Owner’s Manual) but do not start the calibration routine. 3. Remove right rear plastic cover to view LED diagnostics on control board. Caution: Machine is on. Current is active!! 4. Locate LED D on the motor controller board. LED may be lit or unlit. 5. Manually advance the treadle with your foot, and check if LED D is blinking. 6. If LED D is not blinking, then the speed sensor is not supplying a signal. Check that the speed sensor wire is plugged into the motor controller board, to the connection labeled “P1”. Check connection of speed sensor to jumper wire. Check speed sensor adjustment (use business card to set gap between sensor and pulley). If LED D still does not flash replace sensor.

Kenmore over the stove microwave, model # 721.62629200,only low speed fan works on the keypad,no high speed fan.

The fan has a setting for high speed, low, and off. Fan only running at low speed. This indicates problem towards. 1) the fan motor. 2) The loose fan wiring. 3) The fan switch. IN the unit there is a motor for fan.If the motor gets weak or short. The fan will run but only at low speed.Because at high speed the motor will require more power to run.In this case motor needs to be checked and replaced. The other possibility is the fan wiring. There are two wires going from fan to motor and two going from motor to power board. If any of this wire is got loose or getting short then this will stop the fan to run in high speed. In this case the wires needs to be checked and reconnected properly. In the unit there is a switch internally. When you select the fan to high speed mode the switch goes up. when you select the fan to low speed mode the switch turns down. But if the switch is faulty or got worn out. Then it will not move properly up/down.In this case switch needs to be replaced.IN some brand models the High speed and low speed are directly controlled from front control panel. There is no switch in that models. In that case the control panel needs to be checked and replaced. Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

The mixer motor starts and stops, it will not continue running on any speed. By playing with the speed selector you can get it running sometimes but you cannot keep it running if you change speeds.

Here is how your speed control works:

Speed Control
The speed control of the mixer is attained through the use of a governor assembly mounted at the rear of the control plate assembly.
The electrical circuit is made and broken by the action of the fly ball governor revolving against the control plate.
When the switch lever is moved to an ON position, the position of the control plate with respect to the governor is changed by the action of the switch lever.
Thus, when the control plate is set close to the governor, a relatively low speed of the motor causes the governor to make or break the mixer’s electrical circuit through the control plate.
When the control plate is set farther away, a greater motor speed is required before the governor starts breaking the circuit.
The action of the governor is such that the speed of the motor will remain constant for a given setting of the control plate within certain loads.
After certain loads have been exceeded, the speed of the motor will drop to meet the torque requirements of the given load.
Speed is controlled by the governor and the control plate in conjunction with the phase control.

TRIAC RMS VOLTAGE
BOTH CONTACTS OPEN - 40 VOLTS
ONE CONTACT OPEN - 80 VOLTS
BOTH CONTACTS CLOSED - FULL VOLTAGE
NOTE: The triac regulates the power the motor sees depending on control board contacts.
A device called a triac is a part of the phase control circuit.
This device determines the amount of power the motor sees dependent upon the condition of the control board contacts.
If both contacts are open, about 40 volts RMS is applied to the motor and about 80 volts is applied when either contact is closed and the other is open.
When both contacts are closed, the triac is full on; consequently, full power is applied to the motor. In this way, the speed is controlled.
If the mixer motor begins to run too fast for a
particular speed setting, one or both contacts open, which cuts back on the voltage the motor sees, thus slowing it up.
If the motor operation becomes too slow, one or both contacts will close, applying the needed voltage to the motor to sufficiently increase motor speed.
This is always accomplished through the triac.
The control plate contacts control the triac, and in turn, controls the amount of power supplied to the motor.

The heater fan stopped working I am suspecting a fuse or the motor. When you turn the fan on nothing happens.

The resistor module, and the plug connector, and known problems in 1999-2006 blower motors for many GM trucks.

Did you also change the connector at the same time?

Here is a step-by-step check you can do to fix it. If you are only getting high speed (setting 5), then most likely you have a resistor problem, or the wiring connector to the resistor is bad. The ground wire prong being bad is a possible cause.

Check this for step-by-step checks:

Subject: 2004 isuzu rodeo...my ac/heater blower is not working

The resistors are in circuit only on the lower fan speed settings.
On the highest speed setting, power is switched directly to the fan motor.
Check fan power supply fuses,
Check power is available to the fan when high speed selected.
If all above OK, apply power directly to the motor to verify fan motor runs- if it doesn't the motor may need replacement/repair.

1995 ford explorer blower motor

Basically, you have a fan relay that has shorted and burned. The relay is used because of the different power setting needed for the fan speeds.

Trouble shoot all fuses, incase you blew a fuse when the relay went. The relay burned but that did not effect the motor, thats why the motor runs well.

To find the location of the hi speed fan relay, check with your local parts store to see if they can bring it up on a computer.
